Today by pure chance, I happened to Google "sac valley pregnancy clinic" and happened to see this review about our clinic that was posted on "Merchant Circle."
The headline is "the BEST clinic EVER"---and was posted by Kacey on December 2, 2009! I'll just quote a part of her review: "I just went here recently for the first time....and they are sooo nice. I love it there...they make you feel like family. im so glad im going there..."
Thank you Kacey! We have hundreds of positive evaluations from clients who choose to complete an anonymous survey after their visit to one of our clinics, but thought this was was worth noting!

On behalf of all of us at the Sacramento Life Center--our counselors, staff, hotline volunteers and Mobile clinic drivers, THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us in any way in 2010! We are so abundantly blessed by the time, talent, and treasure of literally thousands of people in the Sacramento valley - and beyond!
May your Christmas season be especially lively and lovely and safe and healthy! And may you always be blessed with the gift of appreciating, honoring, and supporting LIFE - especially when that LIFE is especially fragile and dependent.
p.s. In October, 2010, my husband and I welcomed into our family two new grandsons within a 36 hour period; and what we know is that their new lives are as precious, valued and worth saving as any and all preborn children. Our unwavering commitment at the Life Center is to help all women and men choose LIFE for their preborn children. May 2011 be the year that is remembered by how we respect LIFE!

Still feel overwhelmed with the incredible support, energy, and LIFE at our 19th Salute to Life Dinner & Auction at the Hyatt Regency Hotel on November 13! Over 630 friends of the Life Center came to a lively and lovely Dinner & Auction where we so far have raised over $240,000.00!!
Highlight of the evening were two stories from former clients! Their compelling, unique life journeys confirmed once again the vital importance of our work!
Another amazing highlight was the "unveiling" of our Medical Mobile Pregnancy Clinic, AKA the "Lifemobile." Inaugural roll out for the Lifemobile was November 17, 2010. Stay tuned for more updates!!

Lots of work has been done to get our mobile clinic ready to "roll." We are in need of a "few good men" interested and able to drive our 32 foot RV around Sacramento. I'm not being "sexist" when I ask for only men, because our intent is that the drivers could also be trained as one of our volunteer male counselors. The mobile clinic will always be staffed by a female counselor and, as scheduled, a licensed ultrasound technician and/or R.N. Call Ron Kincaid at (916) 685-4007 or email at ronkincaid@comcast.net if you or anyone you know is interested in this lifesaving work!

Great news - we have purchased a used RV and it is now in the process of being converted into a medical mobile clinic....this has been our dream for over 18 months and thanks to our hundreds of generous donors, we have the financial resources to make this happen!! The retrofitting process and licensing will take some time, as will creating the design for the outside "wrap" for the "Lifemobile." Thanks so much to Ron Kincaid and Dan Maust who tirelessly researched and checked out many RV's throughout the Sacramento area. Stay tuned to learn when we will officially "roll" out our third clinic!!

March 17, 2010 - Happy St. Patrick's Day. Welcome to the periodic, random thoughts from the Executive Director of the Sacramento Life Center - hoping that a 59.9 year old married woman, once single, once divorced, once single parent, mother of 3 sons, 3 step-sons, mother-in-law x 3, almost 4, grandmother, daughter-in-law, sister and aunt, has something worth saying about LIFE.
Promise to keep it "pithy" as the Fox "leprechaun" says.
